Yes for me, although I do prefer my diver on a rubber or bracelet. The strap you have it on is a bit more sporty as well which helps.

Would recommend Split or Dubrovnik, the latter being slightly more touristy I'd say. It's been a few years since I've been there (10 or so) and I worked there so can't recommend resorts unfortunately...
