Same here....for myself its running, martial arts, playing the guitar etc. all I would class as hobbies.
They do look good, def giving off Seiko Sarb & Omega Aqua Terra vibes....
Try to go with the same crystal material (sapphire, mineral, plexi etc.) as the watch you are wishing to apply it to, also try to match the AR coating (if any) colour of the cyclops to the crystal...
The 1960's Mil-Spec case size was 34mm which is what Benrus produced after beating Bulova to win the contract in 1962....
I currently own two Yema pieces, the Co-Lab Pearldiver (38mm) with the inhouse Y2000 movement and the 1960s reissue of the Superman 300 Skindiver (39mm) on the Scales bracelet with the Sellita SW200...
I agree, it's a great looking skin diver, a well built modern reissue would be fantastic.....
I pretty much keep all mine (as I have the space) and usually keep the spare bracelet links when I size the watch, plus it's good if I move the piece along....the next owner gets the full package, so...
The Baltany version is 39mm :chuncky:
I do like the BB Monochrome (on the oyster) but like the BB54 more I think, the only thing I would change on the BB54 is to loose the gilt and change to silver/white like the BB58 Blue then, it would...
If you don't want to pay the high price tag, you could always try the cheap version from Baltany for a fraction of the price....I have four of their pieces and they are well made for the price point....
Apart from the handset, it's identical to the BENRUS Type I including the bezel markings...
This piece looks to have been issued in 1976 (or 78) a bit difficult to tell from the case back photo, fits within your service period.

Not for me I'm afraid, the idea of a white dial is good but just not this one...
Wearing my Seiko SNK381K1 mod (baton handset & white kanji day wheel) on a vintage style black tropic strap....giving off MACV-SOG vibes, today.
Just picked up a new Seiko 5 SNK381K1 which has now been modded using Seiko OEM parts (baton handset & Kanji day wheel) to represent my interpretation of the MACV-SOG Seiko 5 issued watch, whilst not...
I still have my Seiko SKX033 Pepsi (3 o'clock crown) from the mid to late 1990s and my Omega Seamaster 300m Co-Axil Diver from 2006 (box & papers etc)....the Seiko has never been serviced and its...
Looks positive, glad you're getting something with the bracelet....me personally, even though I do like a Jubilee on certain watches I think the Everest line looks better on the Oyster style bracelet...
Great choice, this is the best G-Shock model in my opinion....looks great and is pretty much indestructible.
My Casio GW5610U worked fine and my BB58, well not an issue....
£750 x 44.5mm
I have to agree with the others, I picked up my first G-Shock at the beginning of last year, the GW-M5610-1 with the electro-luminescent back light but this has the american date format which...
Great timepiece, glad its getting the wear it deserves......I agree with the sizing, I have a 1965 Tissot Seastar in 34mm which just seems to suit the watch perfectly especially on the bracelet and...
Not my cup of tea I'm afraid, the design looks like a microbrand....I know it's definitely not, great photos though.
