IMO the price is probably a bit on the high side, given the unknown history and the condition of the watch. For me buying a pre-owned watch is all about buying the seller as much as the watch, please do you trust the seller?
A friend of mine would like to buy an Oris model 7415, we are having a hard time trying to figure out if the 600 euros required by the seller are legitimate.
For info is the watch at least 10 years old (could be 15?), the service history is unknown at the moment, but the watch should work fine according to the seller.
What do you guys think of the price asked for? I enclose a picture of the watch.

We have no idea of who the seller might be, just an alias at the present time, so I guess we need to get some more information before any deal... What do you think the price should be?Originally Posted by LeonW
Well - I sold an Oris World Timer, which would be more expensive than that one new and was in better condition with a spare strap to boot, for £460.
I would say it's definitely priced too high.
I am certainly not an expert on Oris pricing but my uneducated estimate says it's worth less than £300.
I agree, £300-350 at the most and that is if you trust the seller.
Everybody agrees?
Way too high me thinks...look on here for ref.
That doesn't seem cheap. I'm no expert either, but I picked this up recently for £450:
Has box and papers and is in v good nick.
Far too high IMO. Wouldn't go near it at the price.
Agreed. Maybe €300- €350 would be a reasonable price. If you knew the seller and the service history.
